Well after working for U.S. News and World Report for a little over 3 years, I took my leave last week. I had some real issues with the way things were being run and decided enough is enough. I also made another major decision last week and that was I no longer have any desire to be a computer support guy. To that end I have applied to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with the goal of getting my associates degree in Graphic Design. I have a passion for graphic arts and I am really excited about the prospect of going back to school. I will probably try and get a part-time job at the Apple Store or something. But for the time being I am good until the end of the year as far as money is concerned…so I am going to spend time relaxing and enjoying some time to myself and studies. If everything works out, my classes will start on November 8th.
I am still in my relationship with Dorothy and I feel seriously about her. I wrote her this poem the other day, she loved it very much and it really expresses my feelings about her…
As the sun breaks the dark of night,
the morning mist clears,
and reveals a beautiful sight.
Among the rays of the sun up high,
I see you there,
and I smile, resounding a sigh.
I cannot reach you for you are so far,
but I close my eyes,
now we are no longer apart.
I caress your cheek and kiss you sweet,
you purr in contentment,
this is how it is every time we meet.
I take you into my arms and feel your heat,
burning desire within,
my breath grows short, faster my heart beats.
I feel every inch of you, exploring everything,
you moan in anticipation,
how much more ecstasy can my touch bring?
My heart beats for you, every single beat,
every single moment,
you are my everything, my darling, my sweet.
The sun sets and darkness closes in,
as we lay together,
I look in your eyes, and fall deep within.
I close my eyes and dreams abound,
of you and I,
I am happy with this love I have found.
Close your eyes and dream of me,
from the farthest shore to the deep blue sea,
never forget about the one who loves you,
for you are on my mind every moment of every day,
every tick and every beat of my heart,
you are there and I am too,
Dorothy, I love you.
Well this was an awesome weekend for me, being a huge fan of the New England Patriots and also a fan of the Sox. The Patriots completely destroyed the Dolphins 49-28. Some of the plays they pulled off in that game were incredible. Tom Brady got five touchdown passes completed in the first half of the game. The score was 35-7 by half-time. The Dolphins tried to fight back, but got smacked down. They got a free touchdown only because of that idiot quarterback Cassel who was in the game for Brady. After that Brady came back in to wrap up the game.
For the first time in a long time, I sat and watched a baseball game from start to finish. The Red Sox and Cleveland Indians were playing in game 7 of the ALCS. I am not a huge fan of baseball, I find it too slow and boring…but I do cheer for the Red Sox and I couldn’t miss this game. It was spectacular as the Sox beat the Indians 12-2 and are now preparing to play the Colorado Rockies in the World Series on Wednesday. I will be watching as many games as I can. I hope the Sox can pull this one off.
So all in all a great weekend! I am going to proudly wear my Red Sox cap to work today.
Well I have been busy with a number of things, which have kept me away from updating my blog. Let’s run through them…
1. I am still actively involved with Dorothy. She is an incredible person, I love her voice, her laugh and she doesn’t mind it when I use bad language…I can be myself around her. This could become something more, who knows.
2. Tango just completed a two show weekend, winning both days in her class. She now has a professional handler, her name is Laura. She has worked wonders with Tango and I think Tango looks better than ever out in that show ring.
3. I am still playing World of Warcraft. I am in an awesome guild that is progressing through many of the high level instances. I am enjoying my mage still and I hope to level up my shaman and warlock in the coming months.
That’s about it for now.
