As you can see, I haven’t been keeping my blog updated. I am sorry for that. I have been really busy with a number of things on all fronts.

But one of the most incredible things that has been keeping my attention is my new love interest. Her name is Dorothy and she is pretty spectacular. We are still getting to know each other but both of us have expressed marked interest in one another. She and I have a few things in common, we both play musical instruments, she plays the violin and clarinet too (I used to play the clarinet), she is a chef and loves to cook (duh). So we will see how things go there. Oh and she just started playing World of Warcraft….heheh.

More later.

Great sadness, farewell Luciano!

When I found out yesterday morning of the passing of Luciano Pavarotti, I nearly cried in my cubicle at work. I had seen him in performance on a couple of occasions, once at the Washington Opera (La Traviata) and another at Wolf Trap (I Puritani). His voice was unparalleled and incredible. He was truly blessed by God with an incredible talent. He was also a warm and loving person and cared deeply for his art.

As one person said…the world’s loss is Heaven’s gain. God bless you Luciano! May you enjoy the fruits of Heaven and may the world cherish that which you left behind.
